From Flight 4 to International Futbol

The Sophomore from Pacific Ridge High School and Legends FC San Diego has been called up. Through her duel national background, Eli was invited to train with the U17 Bolivian Women's National team ahead of the CONMEBOL U17 Championships that took place in April. 

The Camp invite was in the middle to late March. Things moved very quickly and after her ECNL showcase in Phoenix, she was off to La Paz, Bolivia for camp. After a week or so of training, Eli was notified that she made the final roster for the U17 Championships which were held in Asunscion, Paraguay. The clever holding midfielder worked her way up from Flight 4 all the way to making her debut for Bolivia vs Colombia on the 30th of April!! Nick Terlecky, her father, went on to say "It's been an amazing experience! There are so many top players in South American teams. Now my daughter is competing amongst them". 

This is just the start of the new chapter of Elizabeth's career. She is an example of what can happen if you put the work in. Those who know Eli, know how much work she has put in so far. There will be more to come from the young firebird!
