D1 Bound: Natalie White to Rhody GBA: How does it feel to finally know where you're going to play college soccer?
NW: It’s a mix between relief and excitement knowing I will be going on to play at a division 1 program.
GBA: Tell us, what would you say is the toughest part of the whole recruiting process?
NW: The toughest part of recruiting is staying proactive and not getting let down when schools don’t reach out to you. Recruiting is all about staying active on all sites and emailing coaches more than 1 time.
GBA: What excites you the most about the URI Men's Soccer Program?
NW: <span style="\\"color:rgb(0," 0,="" 0)\\"="">What excites me most about the URI soccer program is their drive to be the best team they can be and their togetherness as a whole. On my visit I learned that the URI soccer team is truly one team and they are all very close.
GBA: If you could advise the younger players who dream of playing College Soccer, what would you tell them about the whole recruiting process?
NW: I would tell younger players to keep up with emails and film. Even if a coach doesn’t respond right away it is important that you stay in their radar and show your interest by emailing them with any updates.
GBA: What was it like to work with GBA during your college search?
NW: GBA stayed very positive through this process. Also helped me out a ton on my recruitment videos.
GBA: What are your plans from now until you report for preseason in August of '25?
NW: My plans from now until preseason are truly to prepare and make sure I am ready to move onto the next level. It is important to stay up to date with trainings and fitness goals.
